Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor best known for playing Bo on The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was produced at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. In 1997, she received a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first began to meet him in 2007 in an actor's workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married in 2009 and married with a civil ceremony December of that year. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at the Jewish celebration in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk got a baby named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans her good information that she was pregnant on the set of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was shown by Showcase during the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to her work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on social media.
