In the biological sense, an animal, or human is one who has fully developed. For humans an adult's term has meanings associated with social and legal concepts. Legally mature means that a person attains the age of maturity. They are considered an independent, self-sufficient person, and responsible. They are also known as "majors" and "majors", they may also be said to be at the age of majority. It is generally accepted that the threshold at which an individual legally matures is 18. But, it can differ based on the legal rights and the country of origin and also on the psychological state.

At the point that a person reaches physical and intellectual maturity this is known as adulthood. Most people think that adulthood starts at 20 years or greater. Then, after middle age (starting at around 40) is the time to reach older age (around age 60). The three major stages of adulthood include early adulthood (from the mid 30s until late 60s), middle adulthood from mid-30s to late-60s and later adulthood, (mid-60s up to death). In the early years of adulthood the body is at the fullest physical maturation. Yet, our body's size and weight could rise. Our physical capabilities are peaking at the age of young adulthood. It includes strength of muscles in addition to reflex time, the sensitivities, and functioning of the heart.
